Praan-Pratishtha

                    This holy temple of Guru Shukracharya is standing tall, reflecting its religious and historical importance since time immemorial. In the temple, Guru Shukracharya Maharaj has been offering his divine grace to his innumerous devotees in the form of Shivling since time immemorial. But when countless ordinary devotees like us come to the temple for darshan often ask, is it Shukracharya Maharaj’s temple? Then why in the form of Shivling? Where is Shukracharya Maharaj? and many such questions. For these many questions and to make the darshan of Guru Shukracharya in his physical form possible to the common and naive devotees, a beautiful image of Guru Shukracharya Maharaj should be installed in the temple hall. We had long in mind to fulfill the desires of devotees with this noble purpose. But everything has a time! They say, ‘god has a better plan’. So we decided to go with the flow.

                     At the same time, huge expenses were required for the organization of Praan Pratishtha ceremony. While we were arranging the money, Maharaj showered his grace and solved our problem in a pinch, Captain Shri. Suresh Mhaluji Avhad and his friend businessman Shri. Pradipsheth Dhanraj Rathi visited temple with a proposal. Being a devotee of lord Shukra, he had a strong desire to do something for the temple, as soon as we placed our proposal in front of him, he gave his immediate approval and agreed to pay all the expenses of repairing the temple core, beautifying it and installing idols, organizing pooja for the Praan Pratishtha ceremony, distributing Mahaprasad to thousands of Shukra devotees who come on the day of Praan Pratishtha. At the same time, another pleasant shock was the youth leader Shri. Vivekbhaiyya Bipindada Kolhe Patil gave. As decided, he agreed to pay for a beautiful statue of Maharaj in Makrana marble and do whatever help was needed to make the ceremony grand.      

                    This historical ceremony was planned for five days followed by grand procession ceremony.
