According to Hindu Tradition, every festival has been celebrated in Guru Shukracharya Mandir. Most Prominently, ‘Mahashivratri’. Likewise, a festival which comes in a month of Shravan in Shravan Shuddha Ashtami is ‘Shukra Janma’. Which is the day of birth of Shukracharya Maharaj. This festival is largely & enthusiastically celebrated in this Temple. We actually thought of celebrating this festival long ago, but this came into reality because of a staunch devotee of Shukracharya named Shri. Raviraj Shekhar Thanikkel.
When Shri. Raviraj Shekhar visited the Temple, we provided him a thorough information about the festivals celebrated in this Temple then he humbly suggested us to celebrate Shukra Janma as well & provided all the necessary information. After this, along with Shukra Janmotsav we also decided to celebrate ‘Shiv-Parvati‘ Vivah as well.
Since then, we promised ourselves to continue this Tradition and we are fully committed towards it.
